The Extreme Rhetoric of Liberal Media

For the first time in my lifetime of 30 years, I have witnessed not one but two attempted assassinations of a President. I’ve never lived in a world where everyone always agreed on politics or where everyone was always friendly about their disagreements. People have been passionate or even a little disrespectful about politics and current events for much longer than I’ve been alive. What I see today is much darker and more disturbing than anything anyone has ever witnessed. We don’t see any major Democratic leaders facing any violence towards them, so who are really the ones “inciting violence”?

I could go all day exposing the countless lies the mainstream media has repeated over and over again. There are numerous nasty things the media says about Trump on a daily basis, but I want to focus on some of the most egregious rhetoric that is regularly hammered into the minds of Americans. One would think that after the first assassination attempt, the liberal media would have learned to tone down their attacks on Trump, but it only seemed to motivate them more to encourage that type of behavior.

Let’s start with the most recent line of attack, where Trump was shining light on our horrible immigration crisis by highlighting a small town called Springfield, Ohio, and bringing the concerns of those residents to the national stage. The residents of that town have been expressing their frustrations with the influx of migrants into their city. These migrants are causing major disruptions to their way of life and taking up their taxpayer resources. They have every right to be upset and to hold their elected officials accountable. Instead of focusing on the substance of the issue, the media has done what they always do with Trump: to hyper-focus on one thing that he said and completely ignore the issue he’s trying to discuss.

The media immediately jumped to accuse Trump’s comments of inciting violence and causing bomb threats at schools and hospitals. They intentionally push this propaganda because they want people to view Trump as evil and Democrats as morally just. They didn’t wait for any verifiable reports or confirmation like they said Trump should have before giving his comments; no, they ran with a story because it pushed the narrative they wanted to create. Once we got the facts after an investigation, according to the Governor of Ohio, Mike DeWine, we now know that those bomb threats were nothing but hoaxes. There were “thirty-three threats and thirty-three hoaxes.” “I want to make that very, very clear: none of these had any validity at all”. The media created all of this panic and fear over a story that never had any base in reality.

Do you think the media is going to care that they were wrong? Do you think that they’re going to apologize for accusing Trump and his running mate, JD Vance, of directly inciting violence? Of course not. They’ve already agreed on the lie, and no matter what facts come out in opposition to that lie, they’re still going to push a false narrative on the American people intentionally. The residents in Ohio were expressing their issues with the migrants well before Trump or JD brought the issue to the national stage, and the media ignored them. They ignore the concerns of Americans because it doesn’t support their narrative that massive immigration into this country is a good thing and benefits us. These residents would still be ignored had Trump or JD not brought this issue to the forefront. That’s the real story.

Another blatant lie that’s been debunked numerous times is that Trump called the white supremacists/nazi enthusiasts from the march in Charlottesville “fine people.” Kamala Harris even repeated this on the debate stage, knowing that this was a lie, but conveniently, it was not fact-checked by the ABC moderators. Once again, this lie has been pushed because the media has completely taken Trump’s words out of context with the intention of manipulating the American people. The truth is that Trump has denounced white supremacy numerous times. You can find several direct quotes with a simple Google search.

The truth is that Trump denounced the actions of those nazi enthusiasts and repeatedly said there was no place in this country for those beliefs. Trump says verbatim: “We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence. It has no place in America.” He also says in regards to the organizers of the unwelcome party “Well, I think the driver of the car is a disgrace to himself, his family, and this country. And that is, you can call it terrorism. You can call it murder.” These are quotes directly from Trump, but if you ask anyone in the mainstream liberal media or the average democrat they will tell you that he has never denounced white supremacy and that he encourages this type of behavior.

The truth about what happened in Charlottesville that the media refuses to acknowledge, is protests were happening regarding a confederate statue being removed. There were people peacefully protesting to have it removed and people peacefully protesting to keep the statue. These people protested the day before the bad actors showed up with no issue. On the next day, a third group of people showed up who are the infamous white men marching with torches and believe in hatred of people who are different from them—a very extreme group of people in all the wrong ways. Trump waited to get the facts of what happened that day and spoke to the totality of the incident, not just the piece people were upset about. When you listen to his full statements from that day, Trump is very clearly referring to the people who were there protesting the statue removal, either for it or against it, as the “fine people on both sides.” He very clearly addresses the Nazi enthusiasts separately from those people and completely condemned their actions and their ideology. He denounced the leaders who organized their invasion of the peaceful protest numerous times.

Yet somehow, the media still manipulated his words to convey a message that was never said. They know that he has never said what they’ve accused him of saying, but they continue to lie to you anyway, including Kamala Harris. Why are they doing this? What goal are they trying to achieve by painting Trump as someone who supports white supremacy and Nazi ideology? Joy Reid from MSNBC has referred to Trump as the modern Hitler numerous times. What goal is she trying to achieve by using that type of rhetoric? As someone who is observing the constant hate and vitriol that is spewed towards Trump, one might conclude that these people want something bad to happen to him. They might want these assassination attempts to be a successful assassination. I think that’s a fair question for the media and Democrats.

What’s happening on the left side of the aisle is a case of your actions speak louder than your words. Much louder. They can say that they condemn acts of political violence, but do they? They certainly encouraged BLM rioters to destroy their cities in 2020. They certainly are not going to stop spreading hateful lies about their political opponents. They let Kamala Harris do it on the debate stage last week. They claim that extreme rhetoric happens on both sides of the aisle, yet we’re only seeing one side getting violently attacked. So, who is really inciting the violence? We now know that the most recent shooter is a radical liberal who hated Donald Trump. If the media or Democrats actually cared about bringing the country together, they would take accountability for the violence we’ve seen against the former president and would make some real changes.

They don’t care about uniting the country. That’s the truth. What we see in the media today is something we’ve never seen before. Every mainstream news outlet, besides Fox News, has been on a mission for the better part of a decade to demonize Trump every single day. They are all very clearly on one side of the aisle, and they are abusing their positions as “journalists” who are supposed to be unbiased and objective to work with the democratic party in order to manipulate the American people. Joy Reid is not a journalist. She’s an opinion commentator. Abby Phillips and Dana Bash are not journalists but opinion commentators and Democratic propagandists. These people cannot be trusted to tell us the truth; we must open our eyes and find the truth ourselves.
