Democrats Want To Have Their Cake & Eat It Too

The presidential election of 2024 has undoubtedly been the most unusual campaign season of my lifetime. We've had multiple assassination attempts against a former president, and we've had a successful coup against the sitting President, who was replaced by his vice president. We've had former democrats Tulsi Gabbard, RFK JR, and Elon Musk join forces with Donald Trump. Meanwhile, we've had establishment republicans Dick and Liz Cheney join forces with Kamala Harris. These are truly unprecedented times. Since Kamala is currently the Vice President, many people, including democrats, believe that if she is elected President, it will only be more of the same policies that have been disastrous under Joe Biden. Her supporters will tell you that since she was only the vice president, she had no power or control and, therefore, cannot hold any responsibility for the country's current state. Well, which one is it?

On the one hand, you will have the average Democrat give Biden and Kamala praises for the way they've run the country. They will claim they had to clean up the mess Trump left them and accomplished many things over the last four years. They will also say that Kamala is the most qualified candidate in history to run for President, mainly due to her tenure as the vice president. They claim that she is overqualified and capable of leading the country. On the other hand, you also have democrats who want to completely absolve Kamala from anything having to do with the current state of the country. They will say that she's only been the vice president, so she hasn't had any say or control of the policies that get passed. She's had absolutely no influence over Joe Biden, and even though she's worked closely with him on major policy decisions and cast tie-breaking votes for some of those decisions, she completely disagreed with them and would do things entirely differently from Biden if she was elected.

Does this logic make any sense? How can she be this phenomenal VP but also not accomplish anything as the VP or have any impact on the administration she served in? You don't get to have it both ways. If you want to give her flowers for the good things you believe were accomplished under the Biden administration, then you also have to be willing to hold her accountable for the failures. Biden has said that she played a significant role in nearly every decision he made for foreign and domestic policies. Kamala has now said that she wouldn't have done anything differently from Biden and that she was part of every decision that had an impact. I'm not sure how you can hear that, but I still believe she can't be responsible for the major issues we face today. Either she was a great VP or a useless VP. She can't be both.

We are seeing a clash of years of manipulation from the Democrat Party. What democrats tend to believe is that they can say whatever they want and declare it as truth. So what they've been doing is repeatedly telling the American people that Biden is doing a great job, the economy is in great shape, the crisis at the border is a right-wing conspiracy, Trump would cause chaos in the world, etc etc. They've been saying these things over the years declaring it as truth, but the American people see a different story. We can see that the economy is not in great shape because the cost of living is way out of proportion to earning wages. We can see that millions upon millions of illegal migrants have crossed our border and are flooding our communities using our resources. We can see that under Trump, we had no new wars and that our foreign adversaries respected him.

We can see these things for ourselves, and it's so bad that the media and the Democrats can no longer gaslight and manipulate the American people to just believe what they say. They cannot lie their way out of reality. So when the average Democrat is speaking out of both sides of their neck, it's because they're programmed by the Democrats, and the media is colliding. They will say whatever they need to say to justify why they're supporting Kamala over Trump, even though it makes no logical sense. They don't need it to be logical that it is a symptom of their Trump derangement syndrome. There's part of them that knows Kamala is completely unfit to be our commander-in-chief, but their TDS refuses to allow them to act on those thoughts.

Since the Democrats want to pretend that Kamala had nothing to do with the current administration's failures, let's run down a few things that she has done. Kamala Harris has cast the most tie-breaking votes of any vice president in history. One of her first tie-breaking votes was in favor of the American Rescue plans, which was a nearly $2 TRILLION budget meant to stimulate the economy after the pandemic. This "stimulation" of the economy was the starting point for the rapid rise in inflation, which, of course, led to a much higher cost of living. Kamala has said out of her mouth that she was sent to Ukraine before the war initiated by Putin to negotiate a deal to prevent the war. Clearly, she was unsuccessful in that mission, and the US has now been involved in a proxy war for nearly three years with no end in sight. We've sent almost $200 BILLION in aid to Ukraine, and Biden placed an executive order that banned oil, natural gas, and coal imports from Russia, which severely disrupted our distribution chains for energy here at home. Energy is a major factor in the US economy, so this ban on imports from Russia was the tip of the iceberg that shot up the US inflation and quickly began sinking our economy.

These are just two major impacts on the US economy that Kamala has played a direct role in. I could keep going, but you get the idea. Kamala was not some innocent bystander over the past four years; she has had major influence and control over the current administration, and it is fair for people to have reservations about electing her to office again. People don't question her abilities because she's a woman, as President Obama would suggest. Still, we have real concerns about her decision-making and her policies, which have already been proven to impact our lives negatively. People are not eager to sign up for four more years of this, and it's disrespectful to voters to brush off their real concerns as misogyny. It is disrespectful to voters to gaslight them into believing their concerns aren't things they should be worried about. The people are tired of being manipulated. Our eyes work just fine, and we will be very clear about the future we want for our country on November 5th.
